World Book Day celebrated at the Central Library of Deepshikha Group of Colleges

The Central Library of Deepshikha Group of Colleges organized a library awareness session on the occasion of World Book Day to promote reading habits among students. Chief Librarian Ms. Sonia Gaur highlighted the importance of books and encouraged students to use the library regularly. Principal Dr. Rita Bisht and Chairman Dr. Prem Surana emphasized that books are essential for knowledge and personal development. Vice Chairperson Dr. Anshu Surana motivated students to stay connected with books for academic success. The program concluded with greetings for World Book Day and a pledge to organize more such awareness activities in the future.

Science Exhibition and Quiz Competition were organized on National Science Day

On National Science Day, DCTE Mansarovar organized a program to promote scientific thinking, innovation, and creativity among students. The event, conducted under Principal Dr. Rita Bisht, included a science model exhibition and a quiz competition. Tanvi Sharma and Pratika Goyal secured first place, while other teams secured second and third positions for their innovative models. In the quiz competition, the Parashar Group (Ashish Jahaji and Mohit Sharma) emerged as winners. The program concluded with appreciation from Chairman Dr. Prem Surana and Vice Chairman Dr. Anshu Surana, and certificates were awarded to the winners.

Deepshikha Group of Colleges celebrated the 76th Republic Day with great fervor and enthusiasm. Chairman Dr. Prem Surana sir hoisted the national flag, amidst a sea of students, faculty members, and staff. The day began with a flag hoisting ceremony, followed by a series of cultural programs, patriotic songs, and dance performances. The students and faculty members of the college participated in the celebrations with zeal, showcasing their love and respect for the nation. Dr. Prem Surana sir's inspirational address emphasized the significance of Republic Day and encouraged the students to become responsible citizens of India. The dignitaries present on the occasion delivered inspiring speeches, highlighting the significance of the day and the importance of upholding the values enshrined in the Constitution. The celebrations concluded with a sense of pride and patriotism, reaffirming the college's commitment to nurturing responsible citizens of India.


Jaisalmer Educational Tour 2025

Our college organized an exciting educational tour to Jaisalmer, providing students with a unique opportunity to explore the city's rich cultural heritage and historical significance. During the tour, we visited an array of fascinating destinations, including the majestic Jaisalmer Fort, the tranquil Gadisar Lake, and the breathtaking Sam Sand Dunes, where we enjoyed a thrilling camel safari. We also ventured to the Indo-Pak Border, gaining insights into the country's defense mechanisms, and explored the rustic charm of Longiwal Village. Our itinerary also included visits to the intricately designed Patwon Ki Haveli, the historic Khaba Fort, and the abandoned Kuldhara Village, steeped in mystery and intrigue. Additionally, we paid our respects at the revered Ramdevra Temple and Tanot Mata Temple, significant pilgrimage sites. This enriching experience not only broadened our knowledge but also fostered teamwork, camaraderie, and lifelong memories.


SUPW Camp 2025

Deepshikha Group of Colleges organised a SUPW (Socially Useful Productive Work) Camp for its students, aiming to foster social awareness, community service, and skill development. The camp provided a platform for students to engage in various activities such as craft making, painting, and community outreach programs. Through this initiative, the college encouraged students to develop a sense of social responsibility, empathy, and teamwork, while also enhancing their creative skills. The SUPW Camp was a huge success, with enthusiastic participation from students, and proved to be a valuable learning experience.
