On the occasion of National Science Day, Deepshikha College of Technical Education (DCTE), Mansarovar, organized a special program to promote scientific thinking, innovation, and creativity among students. The event, conducted under the direction of Principal Dr. Rita Bisht, included a science model exhibition and an engaging science quiz competition.
B.Sc. and B.Ed. students presented innovative science models, where Tanvi Sharma and Pratika Goyal secured first place, the team of Ashish Jahaji, Anuj Gupta, and Mohit Sharma secured second place, and Mansi Bishnoi and Krishnavtar Gurjar secured third place for their model on air pollution control.
In the science quiz competition, the Parashar Group (Ashish Jahaji and Mohit Sharma) emerged as winners by demonstrating strong scientific knowledge and quick thinking.
The program was conducted under the guidance of the organizing committee, with key contributions from Dr. Neetu Chauhan, Devendra Kumar, and Kshama Gupta, while Ms. Sonia Gaur served as the judge for the model exhibition.
Chairman Dr. Prem Surana and Vice Chairman Dr. Anshu Surana appreciated the initiative, stating that such programs encourage scientific thinking and innovation among students, and the winners were awarded certificates at the conclusion of the event.
