World Book Day celebrated at the Central Library of Deepshikha Group of Colleges

The Central Library of Deepshikha Group of Colleges successfully organized a library awareness session on the occasion of World Book Day. The program aimed to inculcate reading habits among students and raise awareness about the importance of books and libraries.

During the program, Chief Librarian Ms. Sonia Gaur addressed the students and highlighted the importance of books. She stated that books are an invaluable source of knowledge and that libraries play a vital role in students’ academic and personality development. She encouraged students to use the library regularly and read as many books as possible.

On this occasion, there was special coordination and cooperation from Assistant Librarian Ms. Manju Verma and faculty members, due to which the program was conducted in a systematic and effective manner.

Principal Dr. Rita Bisht, in her message, said that books are true guides in our lives and that students should develop the habit of regular reading. She commended the library for organizing such programs and encouraged students to make maximum use of library resources.

The Chairman of the Institute, Dr. Prem Surana, said that the role of libraries is very important in the field of education and that students should make books their best friends to acquire knowledge.

Vice Chairperson Dr. Anshu Surana, in her message, motivated the students by saying that continuous study and connection with books is the key to success, and that through the library, students can easily achieve their goals.

At the end of the programme, all the students were wished a Happy World Book Day, and a resolution was taken to organize such educational and awareness programmes in the future as well.
